GRADING RULES FOR PINE :
grade 1&2 (grade AB):
description :
Kd material made from fresh logs meaning no or little natural blue stain (less than 2%) , no wane , no dead falling knots , no rot, and four sides square . in principal pencil wane is allowed as a human factor error which can be 0-3% , this material is mostly dried to 14% but we also produce AST AD for some markets,main uses are moulding, profiles, furniture, door frames and some customers use for pallet wood and construction. Main markets are : Pkaistan / India/ Srilanak / Philippines/ Korea/Iraq….etc

cutting :
In this grade we are usually cutting using discs for best cutting and optimum tolerances.
GRADE 3 (BLUE STAIN GRADE):
DeSCRIPTION:
The blue stain material has no limit on Blue stain (up to 70% is allowed) in principle little or no wane, no rot , no dead falling knots, worm holes are allowed up to 5% of the pieces , this material can be dried but most customers prefer it to be done AST AD and it goes for construction or pallet and packaging
mARKETS:
The main use is construction and packaging, this grade mostly goes to the middle east , China. Taiwan . Thailand and Vietnam
cutting :
In this grade we are usually cutting using Horizantal band saws and then going through multi-rip disc to get the boards / beams thickness we need.
Tolerances and invoicing :
We have 1 rule for invoicing and that is invoice = actual size.
tolerances norms are :
Thiackess : -0/+1 mm
Width : -0/+3mm
length : -0/+5mm
End painting :
RED for AST and Green for KD production
